Who we are

We’re Michelle and Ryan — partners in life and work, and the team behind Nace Studio. Working on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country in Clifton Hill, we design architecture and interiors that feel grounded, enduring and personal.

  • Architect & Director

    Ryan runs the architecture side of the studio and is quietly relentless about getting things right. He has a calm, precise way of working and a deep interest in how spaces work in real life.

    He is happiest when resolving the details no one else notices and making sure every line lands exactly where it should.

  • Studio Director

    Michelle oversees operations, interiors and the client journey across the studio. She has a genuine love for textiles, colour and function, and brings a clear, organised approach to keeping projects on track. Her background in creative production and styling shapes the way our work is presented and experienced.
